A Nightmare in Rotterdam returns to the very roots of hardcore…. back to the era when hardcore originated and arose at the holy grounds of the mighty Energiehal…. back to the place where hardcore history has been made by you, the true hardcore people who just kept on supporting hardcore throughout the last 15 years in her ups, but also during her downs… back to the era when there was no such thing as huge 8-area festivals and mega-parties held in immense locations and venues….. back to the era where the die-hards partied until daylight, in just one hall where thousands of hardcore-minded people got together, became one, and unified…. back to the era when you went ballistic to just “hardcore” instead of being forced to make a choice between seven various hardcore sub styles…. back to the era when there was no such thing as different hardcore camps, resulting into the need to publicly diss one another for each others believes and opinions… back to the era when hardcore was a true way of life!
We invite you to board the Nightmare Time machine, taking you through a ten hour lesson in hardcore, taking you through 15 years of hardcore history. The Professors for this night will guide you through the time machine against an impressive setting, combining the old and the new. Only the absolute elite of early and present hardcore legends will bring you a memorable hardcore trip, served during unique back-to-back confrontations.
We invite you to return to the good old days…. one hall, one huge stage, two DJ set ups, raging live-acts…old and new will meet each other and become one on the 16 th of December 2006 in Ahoy', Rotterdam.
