choice of 5 interesting artists per genre; in no particular order.

it was tough to decide on these, so, counteracting the "charts" concept a tiny bit, i decided, instead of trying to do a 100% "best of 2013", to do a "5 artists worth checking out 2013".

of course, the focus here is - mostly - on newcomers, or "lesser" known (but still great) artists, so don't be surprised to not find more of the well-known and famous artists amongst the charts.
